Working together with them and frontend developers in the Netherlands, you will create exciting new features for the Back-End, using the latest technology.
As a Backend Developer you will be part of a team responsible for the ongoing development of the product. This will involve maintaining the existing functionality as well as developing new and innovative features to ensure that everything remains competitive in a fast moving market.
The solution works as a browser-based platform, but also features Android apps and an API driven (Java) backend. The development approach follows an Agile methodology and you will be working together with a team of colleagues in a SCRUM team. Within the team you will take up responsibility for building out new features into the backend, and supporting your colleagues in implementing these.
– experience in developing Java applications especially with the Spring Framework and with developing Business Logic for RESTful Webservices
– JavaDocs and git are not just theoretical concepts for you
– experienced in working with Linux
– worked with Google Cloud Platform or AWS
– you have at least upper-intermediate English
